What is yoga?

Rise with the sun. Stretch. Drink plenty of water. Breath deeply. Meditate. Live. Love. Laugh. All this is yoga. It is a way of life, an attitude. Sanskrit dictionaries and yoga books will tell you that the word "yoga" is derived from the sanskrit word "yuj" which means "to unite". Common sense will tell you to try simple things through the day to make you feel well.

Ultimately, yoga is about feeling well, feeling good and loving who you are. It is about feeling good in your own skin and seeking out the things in life that you love. About listening to the subtle sounds in your own heart and knowing that the Truth resides there. About finding joy in simple things and enjoying a cup of tea as easily as a walk in the mountains.
